PACE Innovations, founded by long time race engineer Paul Ceprnich has announced the appointment of Innovation Race Cars as their world-wide distributors for their range of purpose-built race cars.
Based out of Yatala, Queensland, the PACE Innovations is an engineering company involved in meeting both the development of high-volume projects and one-off prototypes.
PACE with Ceprnich at the helm has been involved in Supercars projects for a long time, including being the builders of the majority of the current Supercars Gen3 chassis and MARC Cars that have raced both locally and around the world.
While Innovation Race Cars (IRC), maybe a new name in Australian motor racing, the people behind the business-Danny Stutterd and Rob Woods are both well-known in the GT and Porsche racing circles on both sides of the Tasman.
Danny Stutterd has been racing GT cars for the last ten years, both in Australia and New Zealand. While Rob Woods has been involved in both Porsche Sprint Challenge and Carrera Cup as both a driver and team manager for his Gold Coast based team TekworkX Motorsport.
Together with Danny’s son James, the pair have formed Innovation Race Cars Sales to market the PACE Innovations developed IRC GT car locally in Australia and internationally.
In conjunction with the manufacturer PACE Innovations, IRC have some exciting new plans for expanding sales of the IRC GT in different variants, previously branded as the ‘MARC GT’.
“We are excited to have reached an agreement with PACE Innovations to distribute their new platform”. Rob Woods said.
IRC are also looking at introducing at least one new body shape in 2024.
PACE Innovations Technical Director, Paul Ceprnich said that, “we are ecstatic to have IRC take on the marketing, sales, and support of this new car we have developed, and this will allow us to focus on what we do best, which is to design and build race cars.
“The sales and distribution business is not something we want to do, so we are very happy to team up with Danny and Rob. Together we are hoping to grow both of our brands, ” Ceprnich said.
